Extended story: evening estimate before a May deadline

A client arrived with a laptop folder of five CSVs and screenshots from a phone wallet. Two venues used UTC timestamps; one used Korea Standard Time without saying so. During a Desktop Tax Estimate Session we normalized dates, separated four large self-transfers, and produced an estimate worksheet with eleven open basis lines. The client returned two weeks later with bank PDFs for a short reconstruction pass. Eight of the eleven lines closed; three remained marked incomplete with a written reason. The preparer later worked from that same desktop file.

Extended story: summary before a family filing conversation

Another visitor needed a single transaction summary to show a spouse who handled household tax paperwork. Exports covered spot trades only — no derivatives. Transaction Summary Planning produced a chronological ledger with fee columns aligned to each disposal. The mild friction: several memo fields were empty, so a handful of small transfers stayed labeled “unconfirmed internal.” The couple left with a clearer map of what still needed conversation, not a claim that every line was settled.
