We started as a quiet practice for people who already keep their crypto records on a PC and needed someone to sit with those files before filing season.
Origin
CognitSys Digital grew out of evening desk work in Yeongdeungpo, where clients arrived with rain-damp bags of printed CSVs and laptop folders named after tax years. The need was practical: translate scattered exchange history into an estimate a person could defend in conversation with a preparer.
How we work
Sessions stay small. One planner, your screen or ours, and a shared worksheet. We prefer concrete classification decisions over broad market commentary. When a line cannot be resolved, we leave it marked open instead of filling gaps with optimistic guesses.
People
Planners on the desk combine experience reading personal crypto trade exports with familiarity with how Korean filers discuss disposals and KRW conversion notes. We are not a law firm and we do not replace a licensed tax agent; we prepare the estimate materials those conversations require.
